Two years in success already, the directors of Lithuania 's medical institutions have well-deserved recognition and appreciation. Only on a director enterprise and administration experience depends whether a treatment facility will be thriving, will have good reputation and will be attractive to patients.

Over 100 nominees-medical institution directors from all Lithuania have participated in the contest initiated by “Lietuvos sveikata” for ”The manager of the year”, “The director of the year”, “The European citizen of the year” and other category nominations.

The winners were announced during a sumptuous event at the “ Crown Plaza ” hotel last week. Even two awards from six were announced for representatives of Kaunas .

Algimantas Astrauskas, the director of the PIRMAS ZINGSNIS company was awarded The manager of the year 2004 award for the best management solutions and their implementation in his firm.

At the end of the last year good deeds and dedication of A.Astrauskas, director, were appreciated by one of the most important awards – Kindness brick. The people that have done important good deeds are honoured by this award. A. Astrauskas who have been helping socially unsecured, traumatized and for these reasons suffering people does not reckon his good deeds and does not expect any benefit from them.

 On December 3th a celebratory presentation of diplomas was organized for the Kaunas TIC members who had become the winners of the awards in the year 2004.

A.Astrauskas's company PIRMAS ZINGSNIS was selected a winner for the Special and unique product award that was awarded for a beauty restoration prosthesis from silicone.
